The pro-life non-profit organization Stanton Healthcare will be opening a clinic in Belfast that specializes in “unexpected pregnancy care.”
The clinic will offer free ultrasound scans for pregnant women, a service that the organization claims substantially lowers abortion rates. According to Stanton Healthcare, nine out of 10 “abortion-vulnerable women” will continue the pregnancy after having seeing their baby on an ultrasound.
Stanton Healthcare currently operates pro-life clinics in Idaho and California. The faith-based, non-denominational group call themselves “a revolutionary organization that seeks to replace abortion businesses around the world.”
The non-profits website says, "Stanton Healthcare provides broad-based services to the women and men experiencing an unexpected pregnancy in an environment that upholds physical, emotional and spiritual well-being.”
In addition to free ultrasounds, the clinic will provide free pregnancy tests and additional support.
