Bill Nye’s new Netflix show “Bill Nye Saves The World” is drawing criticism from Christians for its portrayal of believers.

In its premiere episode, the show dealt with the “different flavors of sexuality,” in which Nye introduced an animated character named “Vanilla.” Vanilla preached the values of purity, but was seduced by other flavors – both male and female.

"Come on, Vanilla. Nobody wants just one flavor of ice cream. Haven't you ever wanted to be in a neapolitan?" one of them asked.

Another said: "Come on. It's natural. All-natural cocoa."

Vanilla tries to pray to the “Big ice cream in the sky,” but eventually licks a male character.

“This is on! Oh, yes!” the group says before they all start licking each other.”

Answers in Genesis founder Ken Ham says Nye is using the show to exalt man.

"Bill Nye might think he's the savior of the world, but I've got news for Bill Nye: Jesus is the Savior of the world," he said.

Nye said during the announcement for the show that he wanted the show to discuss complex issues facing the world.

“With the right science and good writing, we’ll do our best to enlighten and entertain our audience. And, perhaps we’ll change the world a little,” he said.
