Christian actress Candace Cameron Bure said that it is sometimes difficult being the only conservative host on “The View,” especially with this year’s election.

In an interview with FOX411, Cameron Bure stated, "This is one of the craziest election years I think any of us have ever known. It's just so wild. I always think to myself, 'What a year for me to have joined 'The View' during this political race for the presidency.'"

Since joining the show in 2015, Cameron Bure has gotten into some fairly heated debates about Christian values and issues such as gay rights.

She admitted that being the only one with conservative views on the show can be trying at times: "I realise sometimes I am the lone conservative or lone Republican sitting at the table some days. And some days it's hard to not have backup but we are all there to share our opinions and I think that's one thing about me, I don't get hot headed.”

However, according to ChristianToday.com, Bure says she doesn’t believe the other hosts are out to attack her.

"I don't take any of it personally," she said. "I don't think really any of the women are on the panel mean it personally. We all have different opinions. That is why we are there."

Cameron Bure, who has also been busy with the reboot of the show “Full House,” added that, "I believe in healthy conversation, and that's what I always try to bring to the table. I don't get overly impassioned or angry with someone who doesn't agree with me, that's just my personality.”

She concluded that she is still undecided on who to vote for, but hopes that the candidates will explain more about their policies and that the drama of this election cycle will begin to quiet down.
