Actor Christian Bale, who portrays Moses in the upcoming film “Exodus: Gods and Kings” said he believes Moses was a terrorist to Egyptian empire.

“He was so much more human than I had ever imagined…had all sort of temptations and indulgences that he had grown up with.

“He was absolutely seen as a freedom fighter for the Hebrews, but a terrorist in terms of the Egyptian empire.”

Bale said “drones would be sent out after him” if Moses were alive today.

“Exodus: Gods and Kings” is a $140 million film that was shot in just 74 days. The movie is directed by Ridley Scott, a self-described agnostic.

“It’s so easy to (give the finger) to religions, and we’ve got to stop that,” he said.

“If you believe, you believe; if you’re faithful, you’re faithful. I don’t care what your religion is. The same if you’re agnostic. That should be accepted to.”

In the film, unlike the biblical description of Moses’ journey, the Red Sea will be parted by an earthquake  and not by God. Also, God’s voice will be portrayed by 11-year-old actor Isaac Andrews, who will play a “messenger” to Moses.
