Chip and Joanna Gaines, the stars of the popular home improvement show “Fixer Upper,” will be releasing a book detailing their journey to success and how their faith sustained them through trials.

According to, the book is titled The Magnolia Story and will be released on October 18.

A description of the book reads: "The Magnolia Story is the first book from Chip and Joanna, offering their fans a detailed look at their life together. From the very first renovation project they ever tackled together, to the project that nearly cost them everything; from the childhood memories that shaped them, to the twists and turns that led them to the life they share on the farm today."

On her personal blog, Joanna shared with readers that it was exciting to write the book and that she is looking forward to sharing their story with fans.

"Getting to tell this story together was like uncovering and reliving half-a-lifetime's worth of happy memories, failures, and adventures. I can't wait to share it with you and hope you enjoy the story, our story, as much as we are enjoying the privilege and opportunity to share it with you."

Although the Gaines’s live a happy, successful life, they experienced many trials along the way and many times had to fall back on their faith and family values and to persevere through the difficult times.

"God taught me to study the Word and believe it, even when it hadn't been fulfilled yet. I really had to cultivate a place of faith that I never had before. I had to trust Him as He would speak His promise to me," Joanna said.

"This trust brought peace, although my circumstance hadn't yet reflected His promise. His Word doesn't return void, and God was working in my heart to establish deeper levels of trust that I now look back on and am thankful for," she added.
