CNN will be debuting a new miniseries on March 1 titled Finding Jesus: Faith, Fact, Forgery.
The series aims to make new insights into the historical Jesus and examine his influence over modern day art, politics, education, literature, language, and faith.
Finding Jesus will consist of six episodes, featuring commentary from academic contributors as they examine the people and relics that existed in the time of Christ.
Some of the contributors include the Rev. Paul Raushenbush, Erwin MacManus, and award-winning journalist David Gibson.
A recent press release from Grace Hill Media described the series as,
“Part documentary exploring the marvelous and mysterious artifacts emanating from the world of the Bible, the series is also a thrilling and emotional drama, examining the Gospel characters and stories connected to these artifacts - the baptism, the betrayal, the Passion, the Resurrection and after.”
