Well-known actor Denzel Washington recently joined Bishop T.D. Jakes on the “TD Jakes Show” where he talked about his Christian faith.

Washington, who recently celebrated his 62nd birthday, said everything he has is a gift from God and encouraged fans to start each day off with gratitude to God.

"I'm in the service business now, I'm fine. I've done well. I don't need any watches and all of that. So I'm here to serve God, here to serve my family,” Washington told Jakes.

Washington, who has won multiple awards, is known for his roles in the films “Training Day,” “American Gangster,” “Philadelphia,” and “Flight,” as well as many others.

Washington also urged fans to make use of the time and gifts God has given them.

“You'll never see a U-Haul behind a hearse. Whatever you have in life, you can't take it with you ... It doesn't matter what you have, what matters is what you do with what you have ... with what God has given you ...Who have you lifted up? Who have you made better? Today. That's what I'm about," Washington said.
