Duck Dynasty stars John Luke and new bride Mary Kate Robinson recently moved to Virginia to attend Liberty University. Mary Kate shared how the move affected her and how her daily devotionals help her trust God.

The young Robinson couple have had a busy summer, getting married in June and moving to Virginia where they are both attending conservative Christian college, Liberty University.

According to Christian Today, Mary Kate says that making time for her devotionals every day is important to her.

"Time spent with God is so precious and the best thing you can do during your day. It seems hard sometimes to find time, but any time is better than no time at all. I find it best to start my day off with Him—it just helps to set the mood for the rest of the day. Be in the Word and pray. Starting you day off refreshed and encouraged is way better than starting off sad and negative. God loves it when you spend time with Him, too," she said.

Mary Kate also posted a photo to her Instagram account, outlining the fruits of the spirit and a prayer she has been praying.

"Lord, let me... Help me to live by the spirit so I may produce these fruits. I know I cannot produce them by my own means. I have to do it by your power! So I pray you empower me with your spirit and give me strength so these may be seen in my day to day life!" the prayer reads.

Mary Kate, who has adopted the title “The Little Duck Wife,” says that God was there for her and her new husband when they moved to Virginia and began a new chapter in their lives.

In a blog post, Mary Kate talked about how, even though she loves traveling, she has a difficult time being away from her family and hometown, but that God has helped her to overcome feelings of homesickness and given her an excitement for what is ahead.
