A video explaining America’s Christian roots has been denied access on Facebook, reports Charisma News.

The video, which was produced by Bill Heid of Heirloom Audio Productions is called The Lost Secrets of Liberty and was set to release to coincide with America’s celebration of Independence Day. In the video, Heid discusses America’s Christian heritage and what liberty meant to the Founding Fathers.

The video also reveals not often discussed facts about America’s founding, including Ethan Allen’s demand that the British at Fort Ticonderoga surrender “in the name of the Great Jehovah and the Continental Congress” and John Adams’ assertion that religion played a central role in American Independence.

Heirloom’s advertising campaign for the video was not approved by Facebook. The reason given was due to “images or videos that show nudity or cleavage.”

Heirloom assumed this objection was in reference to an image of Michelangelo's painting on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel--hardly a graphic image.

"I applaud Facebook for having standards," Heid said. "However, I'm also deeply saddened by the tragic and unjustified banning of our new family-friendly Christian production. I created this Independence Day video for parents to watch with their kids so they could discuss the origins of America's liberty."

Although you can’t see the video on Facebook, you can still view it here: TheLostSecretsOfLiberty.com
