The Rev. Franklin Graham concluded his 50-state Decision America Tour prayer rally in his home state of North Carolina today.
For the past several months leading up to the presidential election in November, Graham and his team have been touring the country, stopping at each state’s capital, urging Christians to pray for America and to get out and vote.
Graham has said that he has no hope in the Democratic Party, but also no hope in the Republican Party. He officially resigned his affiliation with the Republican Party last year.
“The only hope for this country is God,” Graham asserted to enthusiastic applause during his rally on Wednesday in Richmond, Virginia, which drew a couple thousand people.
During the rally, Graham invited those gathered to pray out loud in groups for the nation, the local government workers and law enforcement, and for a revival to take place in peoples’ hearts.
Christians need to have their voice be heard in this election, Graham said, while sharing examples from history of how influential even a few votes can be. “Your vote counts. America needs the Christian voice,” he said.
He asserted that “This election is not about missing emails or crude language. It’s about the Supreme Court!”
In Raleigh, North Carolina, over 14,000 people gathered at the rally where Graham also led those present in the sinner’s prayer to accept Christ if they did not know Him.
