Gospel singer Carman Licciardello, known simply as Carman, has announced to fans that he will be releasing a new song about President-elect Donald Trump and the election.

ChristianToday.com reports that the gospel singer, who miraculously was healed from cancer, told fans on Facebook that he will be releasing the song on January 19, to coincide with his birthday and Trump’s inauguration, which will take place the next day.

He also wanted the song release to be an interactive event for his fans.

“You all have been so supportive the past few years through my fight with incurablecancer and comeback to the stage after 14 years that I wanted to do something special," he said.

"You tell me what points you think the song should include. You've watched the news and have lots of observations. So chime in and let's do this together," he continued. "Post your ideas in the comments below and I'll do my best to include them in this new song. And if there's any topic you want me to comment on, post that too. Here we go... we're gonna have some fun."

He added that he is going to do a simple video with just an acoustic guitar like he used to do.

"I'll be going old school and premiering a new song with just me and my guitar. Like I used to back in the day. But this time, YOU GET TO HELP."

The singer added that he believes both political sides will be able to appreciate the song.
