A battle against the Affordable Care Act's contraception coverage mandate could be fought in the U.S. Supreme Court, CBN News reports. Attorneys for Hobby Lobby are asking the high court to hear its case. The craft store chain is owned by the Green family, who says the policy forces them to violate their Christian beliefs or pay millions in fines. It requires the company to provide insurance that includes contraception and abortion-inducing drugs. A U.S. district court temporarily exempted the Greens' businesses from the mandate in July; they also own Mardel Christian bookstore. The Department of Health and Human Services then filed a notice in federal court to appeal that decision.
