Islamic State Claims to be Perpetrators of Paris Terrorist Attacks

The world is still reeling from yesterday’s Paris terrorist attacks which left 127 people dead and others injured.

According to SRNNew.com, the Islamic State has claimed to be the perpetrators of the attacks.

The terrorist group said the attacks were a warning to France that there will be consequences for their political policies.

The group stated that the purpose of the attacks was “To teach France, and all nations following its path, that they will remain at the top of Islamic State’s list of targets, and that the smell of death won’t leave their noses as long as they partake in their crusader campaign.”

The attacks took place at two crowded venues, a concert hall and a stadium, as well as various cafes and restaurants in northern and eastern Paris.

France’s president, Francois Hollande, has called the attacks “an act of war” and stated, “Faced with war, the country must take appropriate action." Hollande did not clarify the course of action to which he was referring.

Hollande also stated that the attacks were carried out by the Islamic State with help from French Muslims.

In an undated video distributed by the Islamic State, militants who appear to be French citizens warn France that attacks against infidels will continue.

One of the militants in the video, identified as Abu Salman the Frenchman, said: “There are weapons and cars available and targets ready to be hit. Even poison is available, so poison the water and food of at least one of the enemies of Allah.”

“Terrorize them and do not allow them to sleep due to fear and horror,” he added.
