Legalizing Marijuana Passes in Two of Three States

Two out of three states voting on legalizing marijuana on Tuesday passed the measure, Townhall.com reports. Both Colorado and Washington decided by a large margin to legalize selling and using marijuana, while Oregon voted it down. However, according to federal laws, it is illegal to distribute or hold marijuana; therefore, federal agents can still shut down medical marijuana shops in the states that have passed these measures.
