Man Taking Woman to Planned Parenthood for Abortion Pulls Gun on Pro-life Protester

A man has been arrested for pulling a gun on a pro-life protester who was confronting the man for bringing a woman to Planned Parenthood so she could get an abortion.

According to The Blaze, Clifton Ratney, 21, was escorting a woman into the abortion clinic in Aurora, Illinois while pro-life protester Troy Buccini pleaded with him to spare the child’s life.

One of the protesters called the police and Ratley was charged with “misdemeanor unlawful use of a weapon and disorderly conduct at the facility," according to LifeNews.com.

Ratley claims the pro-life protesters were “shouting toward” him and that is why he drew his gun.

LifeNews.com reports that the gun Ratley pointed at Buccini was fully loaded and Ratley had fifteen rounds of ammunition in his possession.

Buccini stated that “[T]he baby was spared for that day, at least.”

This has not been the first time protesters at abortion clinics have faced violence. LifeNews.com reports that in July, a man pulled a gun on pro-life protesters in Tennessee’s Bristol Women’s abortion facility.
