Miss USA 2010 Converts to Christianity from Islam

The 2010 Muslim winner of the Miss USA pageant has reportedly converted to Christianity.
According to Christian Today, Rima Fakih grew up in a home which she says was “spiritual,” but not necessarily religious.
“My family's been very liberal, and we appreciate all different kinds of religions,” Fakih said in a interview with the Huffington Post in 2010. "My brother-in-law is Christian, and he (and my sister) baptised their two sons. I have an uncle who converted to Christianity, and he's a priest now,” she added.
"We'd go to church on Easter. We always had a Christmas tree and every year we go the Radio City Christmas Show, and watch Miracle on 34th Street. But we celebrate some of the Islamic holidays as well."
Fakih reportedly converted to Christianity about a month ago. In a week, she will marry Wassim Salibi, a Maronite Christian who is a music producer of artists such as The Weeknd, who will perform at the wedding.
Fakih recently tweeted Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through him who strengthens me.”
Some Muslims criticized Fakih for entering the Miss USA pageant in 2010. When she won the pageant, she said, "I'd like to say I'm American first, and I am an Arab-American, I am Lebanese-American, and I am Muslim-American."
The social media response to her conversion has overall been positive and supportive.
