National Billboard Campaign Seeks to Hold U.S. Accountable to God's Law

Are billboards an effective way of convicting Americans of their sin? Joseph Farah thinks so, and has started a national campaign as a result, Christian News Network reports.

Co-founder of the news outlet WND, Farah has started this billboard campaign in the hopes of reminding Americans of their accountability to the law of God. In large red font, the words “THUS SAITH THE LORD” boom down on viewers, underneath which the Ten Commandments are printed.

Farah has purchased billboards in Las Vegas, Nashville, Los Angeles and Branson. The billboard will also appear in smaller cities such as Shubert, Pennsylvania and Jacksonville, Florida.

“I know America badly needs a reminder of who guides the universe and the affairs of men and what He requires of us all.” Farah says. “Americans need awareness of their sins before they can repent of them. And until we repent of our sins, America’s fate has been cast to the wind. America needs the Ten Commandments.”

Now that much of modern society has erased God from American life, Farah said it is time to bring God’s word back to the forefront. Only time will tell if his billboards will be successful in doing so.
