TheFederalist.com believes The New York Times may have purposefully left the book Gosnell: The Untold Story of America’s Most Prolific Serial Killer off its bestseller list.
When the book released last week it was ranked No.3 on Amazon’s bestseller list, but it hasn’t earned a spot on the NYT bestseller list.
“This is shocking that the cover-up of the Gosnell story is continuing even after the mainstream media were so criticized for failing to cover the trial,” said Gosnell co-author Ann McElhinney. “It’s clear that this is a blatant fake list in a fake news newspaper.”
Gosnell tells the story of Dr. Kermit Gosnell, who was convicted of killing four people, including three babies. Gosnell, who is considered by some to be a serial killer for murdering patients and babies at his “House or Horrors” abortion clinic, is currently serving three life sentences without the possibility of parole.
Gosnell’s story originally drew “scant” reporting from the media, TheFederalist.com writes.
“The media has a long history of covering up news about the dark side of the abortion industry, particularly Gosnell’s murderous rampage,” the article says. “When the Associated Press covered it, they did so as if it were nothing more than a local crime story.”
As of Friday, the book was No.1 on Amazon’s Bestseller lists for books about serial killers, abortion and birth control and state and local issues. It was No. 37 overall.
