Around 30 people were injured in the attack.
Christian Today reports that one of the pastors served at Sondi Church and was killed alongside his son. The other pastor was killed while traveling to his farm.
According to the Christian Association of Wukari, authorities in the region are ignoring information that is passed to them, allowing Hausa-Fulani herdsmen have more freedom to plan their attacks.
Christian Reformed Church Nigeria president Rev. Caleb Ahima said, "The Hausa-Fulani north seems to be determined to wipe southern Taraba off the map of this country.”
"What is happening? How come that one local government area has been attacked seven times now and it seems as if the country has no good security intelligence gathering network, or that security reports are not being used."
