Tornadoes ripped through Oklahoma and Arkansas Wednesday (March 26), causing one casualty. The city of Moore, Oklahoma was hit less two years after an F5 tornado caused serious damage and 24 deaths.
The Blaze reports that one Moore teen found a symbol of God in the tornado’s wreckage.
Chase Rhodes, 14, posted a photo on Twitter of what appears to be a cross hanging in the sky. The cross was made up of a broken electrical pole that was held up by power lines.
Rhodes captioned the photo, “Just found this after the tornado. God is with us.”
The teenager told The Blaze, “It looked amazing. I didn’t notice it at first, but it really did look like a cross over there. It was very cool.”
Rhodes’ family were able to wait out the storm in a shelter.
He said, “We were sitting in our house… watching our news and the power started flickering. They weren’t saying anything about a storm in Moore bit it suddenly popped over and started doing some damage.”
