Pro-Life Group Releases Fourth Video Pointing to Planned Parenthood Sale of Fetal Organs

Pro-life group the Center for Medical Progress released a fourth video that claims to show a Planned Parenthood doctor involved with the illegal sale of aborted baby organs. Fox News reports the video shows Dr. Savita Ginde discussing if the harvesting of organs should be called “research” or a “business.”

In the video, the Planned Parenthood doctor is speaking to actors that she believes are representatives of a procurement company.

Ginde said, “Putting it under the research gives us a little bit of a, a little sort of overhang over the whole thing. Yeah, and in public I think it makes a lot more sense for it to be in the research vein than I’d say the business vein.”

She continues, “Because if you have someone in a really anti-[abortion] state that’s going to be doing this for you, they’re probably going to get caught.”

Ginde and an associate also are seen harvesting aborted organs from a petri dish. She says that water had been added to the specimen they were examining and caused some of the tissue to fall apart.

“Well you know, a lot of times, especially with the second [trimester fetuses], we won’t even put water, because it’s so big you can put your hand in there and pick out the parts,” Ginde said. “So I don’t think it would be as war-torn.”

Later in the video, the associate declares that the specimen they are examining is a boy.

Planned Parenthood maintains that the company is not profiting from the sale of aborted tissue. The company has admitted to donating tissue to research with patients’ and accepting money for the transport of organs; that process is legal.
