A survey has revealed that Tim Tebow remains a favorite football player among many fans, though he didn’t play this past season.

Christian Today reports that the Public Policy Polling survey revealed that Tebow ranked fifth among well-liked quarterbacks.

The survey asked 410 NFL fans, “Given the choices of Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Eli Manning, Peyton Manning, Cam Newton, Aaron Rodgers, Ben Roethlisberger, Tim Tebow, and Russell Wilson, who is your favorite NFL quarterback?"

The 28-year-old Christian philanthropist and SEC analyst Tebow seemed to be a polarizing figure. He was among fans’ favorite quarterbacks, but also among their least favorite. Tebow ranked fifth after Tom Brady, Petyton Manning, Aaron Rodgers, and Cam Newton.

Tebow rose to fame in 2006 when he played for the University of Florida Gators. He was awarded the Heisman Trophy in 2007. He then played for the Denver Broncos in 2010, transferred to the New York Jets in 2012, and then the Patriots in 2013.

Tebow joined the Philadelphia Eagles in 2015, but was cut from the team before the season started.

He was disappointed not to be playing the game he loves, but gracious nevertheless.

"Thanks @Eagles and Coach Kelly for giving me the opportunity to play the game I love! Romans 8:28 #Blessed," Tebow tweeted back in September.
