NFL star turned TV personality Tim Tebow has reportedly opened his hospital in the Philippines, a project that Tebow has been working toward alongside CURE International since 2011.

The Tebow CURE Hospital in Davao City has five floors and 30 beds. Christian Today reports the hospital specializes in children’s orthopedic procedures such as clubfoot, bowed legs and cleft palate, and will serve families that cannot afford the treatments and surgeries.

Erik Dellenback, the Tim Tebow Foundation’s executive director said, "These are simple procedures we take for granted in the US. The reality is that we hope to show people in the Philippines that there is faith, hope and love out there. We want to show them that the Western world cares about them and that they're not a deserted nation."

Time said in a statement, "I was born in the Philippines while my parents served as missionaries, and I have always had a great love and passion for the Filipino people. It is so exciting to be able to provide healing and care for these incredibly deserving children halfway around the world."

The Tebow CURE hospital will celebrate its official grand opening in 2015.
