The Duggar Family was recently featured on “19 Kids and Counting” wearing shirts with a pro-life message. The family wore the same shirts on a consecutive episode and the pro-life message was blurred out by the TLC network.
Bryan Kemper, youth director of Priests for Life said he was “shocked” when the Network blurred out the t-shirt message that read, “I Survived Roe. vs. Wade. Roe vs. Wade Will Not Survive Me.”
Kemper had met Jessa Duggar at a Students for Life of America conference and given her the shirt. Duggar later wrote to Kemper requesting t-shirts for the whole family.
"Knowing how dedicated to the pro-life cause the Duggars are, I expected to see the shirts many times on their show," Kemper wrote.
"It really amazes me that TLC would censor this; it's not like people don't know the Duggar's beliefs.Knowing that the shirt appeared in the previous episode without being blurred, I am wondering if they received complaints or negative feedback after it aired.”
Kemper has called on the fans to let TLC know that viewers want to see the pro-life message.
"I say we show TLC that there is so much more support for the Duggars wearing these shirts than there are complaints,” he said.
