According to a recently released video investigation, the Democratic Party has purposefully incited conflict at rallies for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.
According to Breitbart.com, was released by James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas. The video shows Democrats and members of Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s campaign discussing tactics for stirring up violence at Trump rallies and events.
The process, as explained by those involved, is called “bird-dogging.”
Scott Foval, one of the leaders of the effort, explained in the undercover video what he and his associates are trying to accomplish: “The bird-dogging. The aggressive bird-dogging. What I call it is ‘conflict engagement.’ … Conflict engagement in the lines at Trump rallies? We’re starting anarchy. And he needs to understand that we’re starting anarchy.”
Foval also admits that this kind of action is more common among Democrats than among Republicans because of Republicans’ adherence to rules.
“They have fewer guys willing to step out on the line for what they believe in. … There is a level of adherence to rules on the other side that only when you’re at the very highest level, do you get over,” he said.
The goal, as stated by Foval in the video, is to incite a conflict and then to get the media to cover it.
Foval says his team has succeeded in doing just that multiple times this election cycle, including one instance when a 69-year-old woman pretended to have been injured by a man at a Trump rally who allegedly punched her.
