A semi-finalist on the singing competition program “The Voice” recently wowed audiences with his stirring rendition of “To Worship You I Live.”

Semi-finalist Christian Cuevas, who had Alicia Keys as his coach, belted out the lyrics to the worship song, even being overcome with emotion toward the end of his performance.

Cuevas’ cover of the song immediately reached the top 10 in the charts, according to ChristianToday.com, and the video of his performance reached over 2.5 million views on YouTube.

Fans were inspired both by his talent for singing, as well as his Christian faith which clearly shone through his performance.

"His was beautiful, because of his willingness to proclaim his faith unto a generation that wants nothing to do with sanctification. Great job Christian," one fan said of Cuevas’ cover of the song.

Although Christian ultimately did not move on to the finals in the competition, he remained thankful for the opportunity.

"So glad that I was able to share God with y'all," he tweeted after the show.
