After reading through part of the FOTF letter, I found it to be quite speculative. It is VERY unfortunate that some Christians, when faced with a political set back, have to fantasize about how bad (in their mind) things could get.

Most of the possible outcomes are based upon a gross exaggeration of liberal views. They are meant to scare and instill fear in other Christians who may not be as well versed in political discourse. Perhaps, those like Dr Dobson should spend more time teaching Matthew (Don't worry about tomorrow...) and less time instilling fear and speculation about the future. The fact is that none of us knows what the future holds. It is truly in God's hands. Christians need to remember that and take it to heart. We serve a God that is much more powerful than the world. Why isn't that taught? Or is it not politically expedient?

for dominion belongs to the LORD and He rules over the nations.

So nobody gets into power unless He allows it.

Why does He allow men like Hitler to come into power? Why does He allow evil to reign?

And I'm NOT equating Obama with evil.
It seems many Christians are.

I think McCain's a good man, but I believe the republican party as a whole is a real mess...heavily favoring the rich and denying the poor which is the exact OPPOSITE of what Jesus says to do [sell all ..etc]

Maybe God is testing us to see how we'll react to changes in this country that go against His Word.

Maybe He's sick of all our empty TALK and our lack of ACTION in establishing His kingdom in America. Maybe we're in for a thrashing.

Maybe God is going to use OBAMA to bring us back to Him as a nation- on our KNEES.

Maybe God is just intent upon changing OBAMA's heart.

Ultimately its all in God's hand

Ok people, I'm not for Obama, and I know that he will be our new president, which is def. not good. Especially for the Christians! But listen... Who do you all think is in control? When the disciples were in the midst of the storm, they went to Jesus and asked Him if He even cared that they were about to die! Is that what were doing? Jesus said that was because of their unbelief! Then he calmed the storm instantly! Jesus is in control, and He wants us to worship Him. He doesn't want us to fall down in fear! Praise Him in the storm. So instead of coming to Him and saying that He doesn't care, God wants you to say, thank God the Lord of Creation is in the boat with us! Let us rise up and worship the Lord God Jehovah! Jesus Christ the almighty son of the living God! For He is in control! And, And even if this cup of destruction doesn't pass from us, then let God's will be done. Quite being whiny and unsure of the Lord, and get on your knees and repent!

Today history was made. Never before has this been experienced on American soil. But it is definitely a taste of what is to come if Obama is elected. My 66 year old mother almost didn't vote today. Not because she is apathetic. She has been diligently volunteering at the McCain/Palin campaign headquarters in her city of Pensacola, FL. It's not because she doesn't know the issues. It's not because she thinks it's a no-win situation. It is because, for a split second, she questioned if her safety was worth her vote. You read correctly - her safety. When she pulled into her designated voting location, she was "greeted" by a carload of Muslims dressed in full Muslim attire. Just sitting there, sternly staring her down as she pulled in. Her first thought was to leave without voting - she did not want to be another victim of another bombing. But then patriotism kicked in - it was her RIGHT as an American citizen - to vote for the the candidate of HER choice. With determination, she parked her car and went inside. Seeing an officer inside, she reported the incident - better safe than sorry. The officer informed her that a patrol car had already been dispatched to take care of it and that groups of them had been going to the various voting locations and just parking - intimidating voters. And although the police make them leave the location, they had just been going to another location and doing the same thing. Groups of Muslims - trying to keep people from voting - or trying to passively cooerce people into voting a certain way - on American soil!!!

I think all of these things and more will come true if Obama wins the election
