Austen was a brilliant authoress and it is such a pity that "Becoming Jane" did not do her the justice she so deserved, but rather an injustice. Having never truly understood the public's fascination with "Pride & Prejudice," my heart has always lain with "Persuasion." So I am glad to have found what I consider Miss Austen's finest novel mentioned here with affection. And on a completely random note, neither Colin Firth nor Matthew MacFadyen shall ever compare to the original Mr. Darcy, namely Laurence Olivier.
