A friend brought this to my attention: Remember the story about Moses; Ramses was angry with him because he already caused the Israelites to rest one day in seven.
If you look in Strong's, you'll be surprised to find what that Hebrew word for "rest" is and what it means- it literally reads that Moses caused the slaves to "Sabbath" one day in seven. You see, this blessing of rest and renewal was thought about long before there were any Jewish people-"The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath."
