Bryan Duncan -- Joyride
- Wednesday, March 14, 2001
Bryan Duncan Joyride-Mr. Duncan needs a producer that is willing to take him beyond his James Brown style. His voice is so overshadowed by his "1972" sounding squeals. His remake of Maybe I'm Amazed becomes obnoxious when the big gospel choir almost interrupts the song. Unfortunately, the song It Gets Better, doesn't. There is no denying that the man can sing, but the 80's gospelesque production needs some help. In One Phrase: James Brown on Ritalin. Grade: C- Review by: Paul Oak
