Fritzpw_Host says, "Hello Everyone! Glad you could make it. We'll be starting the event real soon. Welcome to the {{Sandi Patty & Kathy Troccoli}} event. We are glad you are here with us tonight! Our host for tonight is the beloved Nana_dodo. Let's get started with Kathy & Sandi!"

Nana_dodo presents the speaker with question #61 from SabrenaJoy: Kathy and Sandi, will either of you be recording more big band/jazz projects in the future?

{{Sandi Patty & Kathy Troccoli}} say,
"Sandi: I certainly hope so. I really love that music. It is wonderful and timeless."

"Kathy: I have always wanted to do this kind of music because I was brought up on it. Now that I can do so, I hope that I can continue to do it."

Nana_dodo presents the speaker with question #67 from MIddeL_115: Have you ever sung together before?

{{Sandi Patty & Kathy Troccoli}} say,
"Sandi: we started singing together, the first time was one of the songs "Happy Days are here again, come on get happy."

Nana_dodo presents the speaker with question #69 from reconciled2: Kathy, I love your Corner of Eden project. What does "We Will Know Love" mean to you?

{{Sandi Patty & Kathy Troccoli}} say,
"Kathy: It is just a song about reconciliation with a friend, someone I love. We will ultimately know the purest of love in Heaven."

Nana_dodo presents the speaker with question #75 from joysong: Do either of you find it difficult dealing with such celebrity status?

{{Sandi Patty & Kathy Troccoli}} say,
"Kathy: I think that the only thing that is hard about being in the public eye is not about the privacy. It is much more about being away from home, and not having a normal life."

"Sandi: I feel like when I challenge myself to be more real and honest in the public eye, there is not quite that burden there to have it all together. It is a whole lot easiest to be real. That is the good and the bad of it."

Nana_dodo presents the speaker with question #35 from aubbec: Sandi, now that this album is out where does your career take you from here? How long have you both been in the business?

{{Sandi Patty & Kathy Troccoli}} say,
"Sandi: Well you know I have been in the business for 20 years. It is kinda crazy. I don't feel old enough to be in it for that long."

"Kathy: Since 1982, nationally. I started singing in clubs in high school."

Nana_dodo presents the speaker with question #60 from BellaFluff: What do you feel is the best way to handle difficult situations in your life, other than the obvious one of prayer?

{{Sandi Patty & Kathy Troccoli}} say,
"Sandi: To have a group of people who know you on the good and bad days; that know me better that anyone, who keep me grounded in reality, because we all need hands to hold us up! (Kathy says ditto!"

Nana_dodo presents the speaker with question #44 from aubbec: Kathy what was it like working with Mark Lowry?

{{Sandi Patty & Kathy Troccoli}} say,
"Kathy: You know what is so funny about that question? It is always proceeded by a giggle. Mark is brilliant! Some of my best times with Mark are off stage. Mark is really serious. People don't know that he can be so committed and passionate about his faith."

Nana_dodo presents the speaker with question #139 from cstevens2: Kathy, I am a new Christian. I do have one question. I have asked the Lord to come into my life, but have yet to experience some overwhelming "change" in myself. Am I not going to?

{{Sandi Patty & Kathy Troccoli}} say,
"Kathy: It is complicated to answer in one answer. As you journey with God, change seldom happens over night, it is a process, and to me it is keeping yourself available for God to really work in your life. I have a saying, 'To live open handedly before God.'"

"Sandi: I think sometimes for someone that is a new Christian, it is an exciting time, but in some ways it is hard. You confront people and things again. Don't be discouraged by that."

Nana_dodo presents the speaker with question #118 from mthrof5: Sandi, how were you able to deal with the rejection of Christians when you were divorced?

{{Sandi Patty & Kathy Troccoli}} say,
"Sandi: I have to honestly say that the support of my church family is really what carried me through. I purposely really tuned out the rest of the country during that. I really placed myself under the umbrella of my local church family. There was so much healing because I knew I was forgiven and I was loved and that is what I stand on."

Nana_dodo presents the speaker with question #64 from AmyW86: What was your most embarrassing moment on stage?

Fritzpw_Host hears Sandi say that it has been burned into her memory."

Fritzpw_Host says, "Kathy is laughing at her already."

{{Sandi Patty & Kathy Troccoli}} say,
"Sandi: I was doing the Young Messiah Tour. We were in Southern California, fabulous concert. In the second half of the concert, I was singing, "And The Glory Of The Lord," which ends really big. As I finish, I have this like Cinderella gown on, when I went to step off the little stage, my heal got caught and I went down on all fours and {{BeBe Winans}} has never let me forget it."

Nana_dodo presents the speaker with question #84 from AmyW86: Kathy, what is your favorite song you have recorded?

{{Sandi Patty & Kathy Troccoli}} say,
"Kathy: I think it changes according to the time in my life or what I am going through in my life."

"Sandi: 'A Different Road', is my favorite song of Kathy's."

Fritzpw_Host says, "We have several questions regarding tour dates. Do either of you have a website for people to check these out?"

{{Sandi Patty & Kathy Troccoli}} say,
"Kathy: The website that www.troccoli.com is my official page."

"Sandi: Mine is sandispage.com"

Nana_dodo presents the speaker with question #124 from lambsong: What has been the secular response to the album (those outside Christian music)?

{{Sandi Patty & Kathy Troccoli}} say,
"Kathy: We have gotten a considerable amount of airplay on American Standard Radio and we are also being asked to do Performing Arts Centers together."

"Sandi: the response has really been positive. "Kathy's single 'I Remember' began to get immediate air play. It was nicely received."

Nana_dodo presents the speaker with question #180 from pugsly: Sandi, have you ever worked with Bill Gaither?

{{Sandi Patty & Kathy Troccoli}} say,
"Sandi: Ya, a whole bunch. I started working with Bill and Gloria in the 80's. In the last few years that has started picking up again and I've gotten to do a couple of the Homecoming videos with them. It feels good, just like coming home."

Nana_dodo presents the speaker with question #86 from lidi: Hi Kathy, we really liked your tape 'Stubborn Love'. We found at our tape library at church, but not at any of the stores. Can it still be bought and if not can we duplicate to give out free to others?

{{Sandi Patty & Kathy Troccoli}} say,
"Kathy: you can get it from our webpage or contact the record company."

Nana_dodo presents the speaker with question #85 from AmyW86: Kathy, what is your favorite song not including your own songs?

{{Sandi Patty & Kathy Troccoli}} say,

Nana_dodo presents the speaker with question #155 from nightowlcf: Sandi, do you sing with your children?

{{Sandi Patty & Kathy Troccoli}} say,
"Sandi: Yes I do. They are all very musical in one way or another: dancing, singing. We even did a thing from 'The Sound of Music' in one of my concerts."

Fritzpw_Host presents the speaker with question #104 from Bobby_C: Kathy -- would you ever do a hymns album in this big band arrangement?

{{Sandi Patty & Kathy Troccoli}} say,

Nana_dodo presents the speaker with question #123 from AmyW86: Kathy, what do you like to do during your free time?

{{Sandi Patty & Kathy Troccoli}} say,
"Kathy: Free time? First and foremost, to get with friends and family, going out to dinner and home-body stuff."

Nana_dodo presents the speaker with question #165 from pugsly: What has or is the Lord doing in either of your lives now?"

{{Sandi Patty & Kathy Troccoli}} say,
"Sandi: He is continually reminding me that he has not forgotten me. It is one thing to know that He loves us, but when we think about the fact that He likes us too; that is an awesome thought."

"Kathy: I think you go through different seasons with God. I think I am in a season where I am more content with things I am doing. I am more confident with him, not striving as hard, seeing that He is God, and that He will accomplish what He wants to accomplish in our lives."

Nana_dodo presents the speaker with question #211 from momofgirls: Kathy or Sandi, which song do you sing that reaches the most people?

{{Sandi Patty & Kathy Troccoli}} say,

Nana_dodo presents the speaker with question #235 from lambsong: Do you two plan to do a video to complement the album?

{{Sandi Patty & Kathy Troccoli}} say,
"Kathy: I think we would both be open to it. I can only speak for myself."

"Sandi: Sometimes you have to wait and see what the momentum is. I think if it was good, we would like to do that."

Nana_dodo presents the speaker with question #210 from eternallysaved1: I was just wondering, how do you Ladies choose what songs to sing? Do you go before God in prayer before choosing them?

{{Sandi Patty & Kathy Troccoli}} say,
"Sandi: Kathy writes. I don't write my songs. I go for several months listening to songs from publishers. The songs that I am drawn to are the ones that say what is on my heart. God is a big part of all of that"

"Kathy: I do write. Whether I write the songs or not, if I can own the song for my own heart, I will sing it. I feel if a song really gets to me, it will have the same effect on the public."

Nana_dodo presents the speaker with question #143 from CoreyinOhio: HI Sandi, when will your next CD be coming out and what kind of music will it be?

{{Sandi Patty & Kathy Troccoli}} say,

{{Sandi Patty & Kathy Troccoli}} say,
"Kathy: Neither of us do conventional touring..."

"Sandi: I am on the road continuously. We get breaks but not like 40 dates in a row and then two months off."

Nana_dodo presents the speaker with question #246 from visit_or: Both: what is one of life's experiences that made you wake up and draw yourself closer to the Lord, and vow never to repeat it ever!

{{Sandi Patty & Kathy Troccoli}} say,

{{Sandi Patty & Kathy Troccoli}} say,
"Kathy: That is a two part question: I would say that I do a lot of work in the Catholic church and the bottom line is believing in Christ and living for him. I don't believe Jesus will ask us what denomination we were."

Nana_dodo presents the speaker with question #301 from Lolligagger: Did anyone, such as teachers or friends expect you to be cutting CD's and touring around the country someday?

Nana_dodo presents the speaker with question #310 from MPaige81: Kathy, the abortion song you did...what made you sing that?

{{Sandi Patty & Kathy Troccoli}} say,

Nana_dodo presents the speaker with question #314 from walkinwithGod: Sandi, have you done anymore albums like 'The Friendship Company,' and how did you enjoy doing that album?

Nana_dodo presents the speaker with question #312 from mcgarity: Sandi, how can we best pray for you?
