Word Records' 17-year-old Texas singer, songwriter, and guitar player, Paige, garners significant attention in Houston surrounding her talent for both music and softball. In addition to being featured recently in a two-part series during the 5:00 p.m. news on Houston's KPRC-TV Channel 2 (NBC), Paige was also featured several times in Houston's top daily paper, the Houston Chronicle.

With her new critically acclaimed and self-titled debut recording set to hit retail shelves June 19, Paige is also enjoying her last season as a celebrity softball player for her high school team, the Katy Taylor Mustangs. In one feature that ran in the Houston Chronicle, Paige is heralded as the "Singing Catcher." Paige's duel talents were highlighted in the story as she both opened the final regular season game by singing the National Anthem, and later went on to help lead her team to a defensive 1-0 win last week over rivals Katy High Tigers in the Class 5A Region III final.

With one more win Friday, Paige will advance to the championship game on Saturday. Additional features on Paige's duel talent will run in Student Sports magazine, a publication for student athletes and coaches around the country, as well as in Release Magazine, Baptist Press Sports, and many others. Features around the tournament are also being considered by both the American Statesman (Austin's top daily) and the Dallas Morning News.

Following this weekend's games, Paige will embark on a 20-city promotional tour that has her traversing the country from Los Angeles to Chicago to Nashville. As Paige's first radio single, "Heart of Hearts," has been named Hitbound this week on the CHR radio charts (The CCM Update), and as her first video, "Power In Your Hand," has been serviced to video outlets nationally, Paige will be conducting numerous radio, video and periodical interviews on this promotional tour.
