Here's an interesting statistic. The combined annual revenue of the top 50 companies in the world, is greater than the combined gross domestic products of the poorest 50 countries where half of the world's population lives. Wow!

It never ceases to amaze me how big companies can grow. Global brands that we all know - Coca Cola, McDonalds, Nike. But no matter how big they are, how many billions they turnover………each one is made up of individuals. Hundreds, thousands of ordinary, everyday people. Like you and me.

Whenever we look at something big - a company, a country, a natural disaster - it's really made up of a collection of little people, with little stories. Some happy. Some sad. Some - well, tragic.

Maybe - that's why Jesus hung out with the little people. The fisherman. The tax collector. The leper. The beggar. The prostitute. One-on-one. Jesus.
