Assyria to be broken; promise of
Concerning the return of Jesus to earth and His glorious millennial reign, Isaiah foretold: The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD . . . . The earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea. Then He will set up the millennial kingdom of His creation; this will be the beginning of His eternal rule (Matthew 25:31-46; also Revelation 20-22).
