Draw the line

…the weakness of God is stronger than human strength. 1 Corinthians1:25

THINK

As we read yesterday, there will always be barriers in life. We will find ourselves in situations that are difficult to make it through. And often, those times can be overwhelming because they seem to be all-encompassing. But when we look at those difficult times in perspective, we see that there is a way to make it through.

God promises us that when we surrender our lives to Him, He will be our strength. And when we rely on Him, we can make it through any situation. What we need to do is simply look to Him for our strength in any and every situation. What are you facing right now? Are you relying on your own strength to overcome it? Or are you relying on God?

PRAY

Thank God for His promise to be on your side as you rely on Him. Pray for Him to help you in any situation you are facing, and that you would continue to trust Him as you face barriers in life.

ACT

Write down whatever difficult situation you are facing right now. Above it, draw a line and write down today’s verse as a reminder that God is bigger than that!
