Theme: Setting Our Eyes on God
God Is Our Provider
Scripture: “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19).
Play: Start telling a story and invite everyone to contribute. Begin with “Once upon a time…” and let imaginations take it away. Each person directs the story to lead the main character to a problem. Just when the problem seems impossible, the next person provides a way out.
Talk: The Bible says that God will meet all of our needs through Jesus (Philippians 4:19). We might not see a solution to our problems, but God is always able to provide exactly what we need. Sometimes what He provides is the strength to endure our problems. Although we don’t know exactly what will help us get through a tough situation, God knows and generously gives. What are some ways we have seen God provide?
Pray: Pray that your family would trust God’s promise to provide all your needs.
