Where Is My Enemy?
By:Rick Boxx

Yesterday we began discussing three questions Dr. Henry Cloud claims Navy Seals ask when in enemy territory. The second question a Seal asks is, “Where is my enemy?”

In business, a better rendition might be, “Who and where are my competitors?”

While in banking we were about to lose the business of a large customer. We did some quick research to learn who our competitors were and their likely proposal so that we could respond appropriately.

The psalmist wrote in Psalm 41:11, “By this I know that You are pleased with me, because my enemy does not shout in triumph over me.”

It’s the Lord who gives us victory, but we still need to do our part of knowing the competition.
