Legal Landmines-Part II

On June 20th the Food and Drug Administration began allowing the morning after pill to be sold over the counter to girls of any age. This raises ethical concerns for many pharmacists.
Many pharmacists hold strong religious beliefs against any form of birth control or abortion inducing drugs. They have been forced to determine whether or not they should participate in selling and dispensing pharmaceuticals in which they disagree.
Since this issue is not resolved for every state it does put many pharmacists at risk if they choose to refuse to sell these drugs.
Deuteronomy 31:6 has some advice, “Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or tremble at them, for the LORD your God is the one who goes with you. He will not fail you or forsake you.”
