The Power of Observation
By Rick Boxx

As I was waiting in a doctor’s office, whom I had never met, I noticed a Billy Graham calendar and some Bible tracts. Before she entered the room, I had an idea of some of her interests.
This gave me the confidence to share about my values and work. It enabled us to find a point of connection quickly.
The Apostle Paul was adept at observation. In Acts 17:22-23 he said, “Men of Athens! I see that in every way you are very religious. For as I walked around and looked carefully at your objects of worship, I even found an altar with this inscription: To An Unknown God. Now what you worship as something unknown I am going to proclaim to you.”
In business, remember; being observant can be valuable.
