Maximizing Opportunities
By: Rick Boxx
June 3, 2015

June is a big month for wedding planners, photographers, bakeries and other businesses directly related to weddings. The challenge for many of these businesses is maximizing the opportunities of the season.

Without forethought, many opportunities will be lost because one person can only be at one wedding at a time. Customer demand that could help fund the rest of their year is often squandered due to lack of manpower and planning.

Many other businesses experience similar dilemmas with seasonal demands. The key to maximizing these opportunities is planning.

Proverbs 21:5 teaches, “The plans of the diligent lead surely to advantage, But everyone who is hasty comes surely to poverty.”

If you desire to maximize short-term profit opportunities, plan far in advance so that you can find temporary labor to satisfy the demand.
