When I heard an entire panel of successful entrepreneurs say that the smartest thing they did in business was to hire great people, I immediately thought, “That’s easy to say if you have enough cash.”
In reality, however, they probably took risks at times when cash was limited. It’s easy, especially as a former CPA, to let finances limit my decisions. Courageous faith requires taking a plunge at times when it doesn’t make sense. If God’s prompting you to move forward, it’s disobedient to do otherwise.
Paul, speaking of Christ, taught in Philippians 4:13, “I can do everything through him who gives me strength.”
If you’re hesitating in taking the plunge you know you should take, ask yourself, “Whose strength am I relying on?”
