In our search for meaning in our work, sometimes we can’t see what’s obvious to others. God has gifted each of us with unique gifts, but sometimes we don’t see them as such.
Both of my daughters have an amazing gift of writing. They can take a simple idea and write about it in a way that brings it to life. Yet, I don’t believe they see what I see.
My daughters have a tendency to assume that most people can write as well as they do, but I suspect, God will likely use their gifts as a part of their calling.
1 Thessalonians 5:11 teaches, “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up.”
If you see a unique gift in someone close to you, encourage and praise their gift.
