Loving Vendors
By Rick Boxx
October 11, 2011

If Christians are called to love others, how do you love your suppliers? If you ask your supplier I suspect they will tell you right away. Pay me on time.

Many businesses get in a habit of paying suppliers late in order to improve their cash flow. They don’t stop to think of the impact this has on their relationship with that vendor, and on their Christian witness to them.

Proverbs 3:27 teaches, “Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act.”

If you can, one of the best ways to build a relationship with a vendor is to care more about them than your cash. If you have the ability to pay your vendors on time, then pay them.
