Today's reading: 2 Samuel 12:1-15
Nathan gets the unpleasant task of confronting David about his sin. He starts off with a metaphor so David will fully understand his actions, and then very directly and candidly talks with David about the wrong he's done and the consequences to follow. It's a thought-provoking exchange that provides us with a good example of both giving and receiving difficult feedback.
What are your thoughts about the value of having godly friends and mentors after taking in this chapter? What did you learn or see from either Nathan or David about giving, receiving and/or responding to corrective feedback? Tami
