Micah 3 And I said: Hear, you heads of Jacob and rulers of the house of Israel! Is it not for you to know justice...
God's focus goes to the rulers and prophets in Micah 3. As the chapter begins we see God using graphic, gory illustrations to describe the evil being done by leaders. And then when He turns to the prophets (excluding Micah) it is very clear that what they are proclaiming is NOT from God. As the chapter concludes we see a sad picture of how God's people have convinced themselves that because of who they are (God's people) "No disaster will come upon them" (vs. 11).
What does Micah 3 show us about being blinded by sin? What does this chapter reveal about the impact of unchecked sin on our lives and thinking, as well as the consequences? Tami
