Power Point - Dec. 28, 2006

December 28, 2006

At the name of Jesus Every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.

                                                                                        --Philippians 2:10-11

Other people have died noble deaths, so what makes the death of Christ so special? He didn’t stay dead very long! He rose from the grave after only three days, and that is something that only He can claim! That is why His influence is still strong in the lives of millions of people around the world today.

You see, when most spiritual and political leaders die, their ideas and direct impact die soon after, but not so with Jesus Christ. That’s why, two thousand years later, we still celebrate and observe Christmas and Easter. We celebrate during these special times because Jesus was born into this world to die for us…but He also rose from the dead, and is coming back for us. And He still guides us and instructs us from on high!

What a message we have to share with our world today!

Let’s make sure that each and every day we tell everyone possible the Good News that the Son of God came to live and die for them.  And that the One who died will be coming back just for them.

I challenge you to make a commitment today to be a bold witness for the Lord. There’s no better way to demonstrate your gratitude for the One who came to live and die for you. His resurrection was not only spectacular, but it proved that everything He said in His 33 years of ministry was true.

It is a story worth sharing!

ONLY CHRIST CAN LOVE YOU ENOUGH TO NOT ONLY DIE FOR YOU, BUT COME BACK FOR YOU.
