And what more shall I say? For the time would fail me to tell of Gideon and Barak and Samson and Jephthah, also of David and Samuel and the prophets: who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became valiant in battle, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. --Hebrews 11:32-34

The men and women in Hebrews 11 displayed a great faith and commitment to the Lord. They were from all different walks of life, most of them ordinary people just like you and me. But they all had one thing in common: their trust in and commitment to the Lord.

You know, it doesn’t really matter what kind of car you drive or where you live. God isn’t limited by how much you do or don’t have. He wants to use you right where you are!

Many believers in Christ claim to have faith in Him, but they don’t follow through in their actions. They see obstacles or face trials, and take off running in the other direction!

But I want to challenge you today, if you are a follower of Christ, to respond by faith to what the Lord is calling you to do.  To live the life He is calling you to live through His Word…by faith!

As long as you are open to letting Him use you…as long as you trust Him and are unmoved in your commitment to Him…He’ll do something extraordinary with your life.

GOD WANTS TO USE YOU RIGHT WHERE YOU ARE!
