For many, of whom I have often told you and now tell you even with tears, walk as enemies of the cross of Christ. Their end is destruction, their god is their belly, and they glory in their shame with minds set on earthly things.

--Philippians 3:18-19

Have you ever thought about what makes you truly happy?

Our world today is all about self-fulfillment. We chase after pleasure. Our culture says, “Life’s all about fun and games! It’s all about the party! Live, love life, and be happy!”

But there’s one big problem with a life that is on the road to pleasure. That road is a dead-end! While sin does gratify for a time, it will never satisfy.

It doesn’t matter how much money you have… what car you drive… or how much fun you have. None of these things will ever satisfy you! They will never be enough. And here’s the reason: We all have a God-shaped hole inside us that can never be satisfied by the things of this world.

Only God can fill that hole in your soul. A relationship with Jesus Christ is the only thing that will fill that deep-seated need within you.

How do you begin that relationship? You must receive God’s free gift of salvation by placing your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. That means you understand that you are a sinner and that the penalty for sin is death. But God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to pay that penalty for your sin through His death on the cross.

Your sins will be forgiven… and you can have eternal life… by placing your faith in Jesus today! This is the only thing that will ever truly satisfy you in life.

A RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS CHRIST IS THE ONLY THING THAT WILL FILL THAT DEEP-SEATED NEED WITHIN YOU.
