Then Joshua said to the people, “Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the LORD will do wonders among you.”

--Joshua 3:5

God wants to do incredible things in your life… even things you might consider impossible. Today’s verse is proof of this!

The problem with a lot of believers these days is that most of us like to play it safe. We like living life in our little comfort zones. But being a believer in Jesus Christ is not always about playing it safe!

Sometimes, oftentimes, God calls us to step outside of our comfort zone to follow Him. And when you take that leap, what wonderful things He can do in and through you!

Now, you may think it’s impossible that God could do something amazing through you. But trust me on this. All you have to do is take that first step of faith. God will never ask you to do anything that He won’t give you the strength to do. He will make a path for you. He will direct your steps and blaze a trail before you!

Today, I want to challenge you to be spiritually, emotionally, and physically ready for the adventures God wants to take you on in your life. Take time to read and study His Word, talk to Him through prayer, and bottom line… seek after Him!

And when you’re facing what seems impossible, remember what it says in Matthew 6:33, “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”

being a believer in Jesus Christ is not always about playing it safe!
