Everlasting to Everlasting | Psalm 90:1-6

Today's Passage: Psalm 90:1-6
Key Verses: Psalm 90:1-2

Lord, you have been our dwelling place throughout all generations. Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the whole world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God.

God is eternal. There was never a time when he wasn't; there will never be a time when he ceases to exist. He has neither beginning nor end.

God is eternal. There is no succession of moments in his being. God never says, "My goodness, I don't know where April went." He is not on a twenty-four hour cycle of days, weeks, months and years.

God is eternal. He sees all things equally vividly. We see things one moment at a time, but God sees all things from beginning to end at the same time in living color!

God is eternal. While he sees all things equally vividly, God sees events in time and acts in time. He watches me throughout the day. In fact, he never takes his eyes off me. In every situation of my day, God gives me exactly what I need right when I need it.

God is eternal . . . and he loved me so much that he sent his Son to pay the penalty of my sins so I could call him, "Abba, Father." Amazing!

Eternal Father, I cannot comprehend your eternality, but I can experience your love and care. Thank you. In Jesus' name. Amen.
